Laura Taylor is President of Nephila Holdings Ltd. and a board-level executive with more than 25 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, investment management, and financial services. Since joining Nephila in 2004, she has held senior leadership roles across operations, finance, technology, portfolio management, and corporate strategy, helping build the firm into one of the world's leading insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment managers.

Laura has extensive experience building and scaling businesses across different strategies, as well as developing innovative structures that connect insurance risk with institutional capital. She brings deep expertise in capital management, strategic growth, governance, enterprise risk management, and organizational transformation.

As President, she works closely with executive leadership, boards, investors, and regulators to drive long-term value creation and business resilience. She also serves as an Executive Director of multiple Nephila entities and as a Non-Executive Director of Nephila's managing agency and several Lloyd's syndicates.

Laura is a CFA Charterholder and holds CPA designations in both Canada and the United States. She has been recognized among the 100 Influential Women in Insurance, 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds, and Influential Women in Bermuda.
